Southern Arizona Clay Artists, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, was established to promote clay arts in the southern Arizona area. Members are clay artists at all skill levels, from beginners to hobbyists to full-time professionals. We are a group of clay lovers who get together to:

Benefits of membership

SACA was formed to provide a greater understanding and appreciation for clay to the community at large as well as serving as a cooperative forum and network for clay artists and enthusiasts. This is accomplished through workshops, juried shows, lectures, slides, and discussion groups.

Educational Programs

SACA sponsors programs that cover topics of interest to its membership and feature individuals who are well versed in the issue at hand. Programs are open to the public, members pay a reduced fee.

Networking

Virtually all activities sponsored by SACA provide opportunities for potters to exchange information and services. Our monthly programs, holiday dinner, and sales events provide opportunities for potters to meet and share information. The newsletter provides an easy method for distributing information to our members.

Shows & Sales

SACA members are eligible to participate in shows sponsored by SACA or in those in which SACA is an organizational participant.

SACA NEWS

SACA publishes a bimonthly newsletter, the SACA NEWS. Each issue is filled with information on our recent events, future plans, and clay-related opportunities in the local area. Members contribute clay-worthy articles to the newsletter by contacting the newsletter editor.
